Scope of works – Due to expansion and refurbishment of the Graham Sutherland Building it was required to upgrade the existing 800kva transformer to a 1000kva transformer, client specification called for an Amorphous Ultra Low Loss transformer to reduce running costs.

Supply , installation & commissioning of 1No 1000kva dual wound 6600/11000V – 415V Amorphous ultra low loss Midel filled transformer including

Disconnection and removal of existing transformer from site including safe disposal.

Installation of new transformer in to existing sub – station

Installation, terminating of HV cabling between the existing HV switchboard and new transformer

Installation and terminating of all LV cabling between new transformer and existing LV Switchboard.
