For both HV and LV systems, we can provide protection settings to ensure:

• Operation and protection of the facility’s network is optimised, so that quality of supply is not unnecessarily impaired.
• Correct protection operation with variations in fault level, fault location or type of fault.
• Fully discriminative clearance of fault s by main protection.
• Plant will not be subjected to through fault conditions in excess of their short time withstand limits.
• Faults will be cleared by designated back – up protection, in the event of failure of main protection or of a circuit breaker to clear a fault within the installation or at the remote interface points.

Reports also include maximum prospective fault levels at any point in the system to ensure switchboards and other equipment a re suitably fault rated.
